Kelsy

A bit about me:  Orignially from Oregon, I have lived in several other states including Florida and, currently, Texas.  As a child I was introduced to Catholicism and eventually found my way to the saving grace of my Lord Jesus Christ through the Baptist faith.

Learning to walk out my faith through the many storms of life has given me a passion to walk with the hurting.  We all have difficult times to live through, but do we let those times strengthen our faith, or weaken it?  When we are hurting so deeply that we are tired of the struggles of life, we all have a choice to make… do we (still) believe?

“After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.  So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?”  Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”
John 6:66-69

May The Weary Soul be helpful to each of us on our journey of faith, a testament to the strength, beauty and peace that can be found when we trust in El Roi, The God Who Sees (Me).
