The Weary Soul blog is a place that offers a small escape from the chaos of everyday life, and a gentle reminder to hold on to the hope God has for us in the midst of life’s challenges.

The Weary Soul blog was born from a deep desire to create a sanctuary for those who are weary and in need of hope, rest and a boost of faith.
When Elijah was worn out and overdone, (1 Kings 19) an angel of the Lord showed up, not to show anger over Elijah’s weakness, but to provide what his tired body and soul needed; food, rest, and a purpose.
Here, the battle weary can come and find rest. Amid life’s difficulties and struggles may this be a place where possibly, hopefully, we can find a way to embark on a new phase of life after the storm. Join us on this journey as we explore the depths of our God’s love for us as He refeshes each of us, one story at a time.
When the days are long and the journey seems endless, take each day as it comes, let’s help one another get through this day, this hour, this minute. It may be agonizingly slow at times, but gradually the pain will begin to lessen.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
